More July 4TH Events

4th of July Fireworks in Lakeland
Come bring the family and gather with Lakeland citizens and watch a great fireworks display fill the sky over beautiful Lake Mirror on Friday, July 1st from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. There will be booths set up and lot of fun family entertainment activities.
The pyrotechnic fun doesn't stop there, though. If you're hungry for more fireworks, check out the display that will be fired off above Tiger Town on July 4th. The fireworks will be shot off following a scheduled softball game.

City of Oviedo's 4th of July Family Fun Day
The City of Oviedo Recreation and Parks Deptartment will host their Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 2nd, 2005, beginning with a family-friendly 5K road race at 7:00am (registration from 6am-6:45am). The race begins at the Oviedo Marketplace. The fun-filled day lasts until 3:00pm.
Visitors will enjoy all sorts of great, family-oriented activities:
(1) unlimited use of the moonwalk, bungee run, obstacle course, dunk tank, and a variety of water games - $2.00 per person
(2) purchase a meal ticket for a hamburger, hot dog, slaw, chips, baked beans, drink and more - $5.00
Free throw contest, 3pt. contest, 9ft. Slam-dunk contest - $2.00 per entry
Visitors can register to win free prizes and dance along with a live DJ throughout the day!
Pool rates: $3.00 (Oviedo residents), $4.00 (non-residents)

St. Cloud 4th of July Celebration
St. Cloud celebrates the 4th of July with a bang and 2005 will be no exception. Traditionally held at the Lakefront, this year, due to the Lakefront renovation, the 4th event will be held at the St. Cloud Civic Center and grounds, 3001 17th Street. The air-conditioned buildings will house the opening ceremony, the SonShine Gospel Singers, whose groups will perform from 10:30am until 9:00pm, a series of games and races for all ages, a puppet show, magic show, and auction. New this year is the auction and a baby contest. The baby contest will have one-year-olds and younger vying for bragging rights.
Other activities will include a carnival, dunk tank, horseshoe toss, several bands entertaining, plenty of food, and at the end of the evening...the Fireworks Display.
Parking will be organized by Kevin Cunningham, K. Cunningham Exterminating, Inc., using several surrounding parking lots with shuttle service to the event grounds. Bus shuttle service will be provided by Osceola Council on Aging.

4th Annual Apopka Fourth of July Celebration
The Fourth Annual Apopka 4th of July Celebration takes place at N.O.C.I.A. (Home of the Zellwood Sweetcorn Festival) and promises to be an afternoon and day full of family fun and fireworks. Our country's freedom has been bought with a heavy price. Apopka's July 4th Celebration will enable us to say thank you to all our brave military men and women who have served our country, and to especially recognize those who have served and are serving our country during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Popular Christian music group ZOEgirl will perform at this year's Apopka 4th of July Celebration.Those in attendance will enjoy an afternoon of fun, complete with FREE games for people of all ages, clowns, face painting, balloon artists and an afternoon of live, nationally known entertainment. This years entertainment lineup includes Matthew West, ZOEgirl, Sonicflood and our headliner is Todd Agnew. Many food vendors will be on site, along with community service booths.
There is a $10.00 parking fee. Most games and activities are FREE. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Everything culminates with a breathtaking fireworks display at 9:30pm.
No coolers, backpacks or pets allowed

Cocoa Beach 4th of July Boat Parade
Enjoy the spectacle of a parade of red, white, and blue decorated boats as they float by during the Cocoa Beach 4th of July Boat Parade. The parade route begins along the south side of SR 520, at marker 101 on the Banana River. The parade then procedes south, traveling through the residential canals of Cocoa Beach, giving numerous Independence Day partiers another reason to celebrate and have a good time. The parade finishes at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. This is great, all-american fun for the whole family...come on out, pick a spot and have a blast.

4th of July Block Party, Hot Rocket Fourth (Downtown Orlando)
If you're going to be in downtown Orlando this Independence Day, do your pre and post firework partying at Wall Street Plaza. Wall Street features six bars and an outdoor main stage featuring live performances by Mark Farner at 8:45-9:45 and Big 10-4 at 10:45pm. Admission is FREE. We'll keep the party going well after the Fireworks at the Fountain dispay finishes at Lake Eola. All ages until 10pm, then it is 21 and up.

Sanford's 4th of July On The River
Make plans to join the Celebration on Monday, July 4th from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at Ft. Mellon Park, along the Sanford RiverWalk, in the heart of the great City of Sanford.
Groove to live concert performances by Cactus Jack & the Cadillacs and The RedEye Express, and enjoy the great food and drinks. The kids will have a blast playing in the mega-fun All-American Kids Zone.
Just after sundown, the sky will come alive with a spectacular 23-minute-long fireworks display, presented by the pyrotechnic experts at Zambelli Internationale, over beautiful Lake Monroe. The display will be simulcast on MAGIC 107.7FM.Zambelli Internationale is known world-wide as the First Family of Fireworks and has produced displays at The Statue of Liberty, Presidential Inaugurations and Mount Rushmore!

Event Notes:
* -Event organizers prohibit attendees from bringing personal fireworks to the event. Police and Fire officials will confiscate all flammable devices and sparklers for the well being and safety of the public.
* -Parking will be available throughout the downtown area.
* -Concessions, including beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food will be served from 5-10pm. Coolers are allowed. The festivities will last a while, so it might be a good idea to bring some blankets or chairs.

Olde Fashioned July 4th Celebration
Sponsored by the City of Winter Park and Sprint. The Olde Fashioned July 4th Celebration takes place at Central Park in dowtown Winter Park and features live patriotic music, the locally-famous 4th of July Bicycle Parade, a hot dog eating contest, horse drawn wagon rides, face painting, and tons more family fun.
