St. Lucia Festival

An annaul celebration of Seminole County's Swedish Heritage(in Sanford). You are invited to experience a little history mixed with a unique Christmastime event. The St. Lucia Festival will take place on Saturday, December 10th from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at the Museum of Seminole County History. The festivities include Smorgasbord sampling, Lucia performers, music, Swedish display, history display, Kubb, Giant Dala, replica Viking ship and Lake Mary Elementary School will perform traditional Holiday songs along with Swedish Christmas songs. Charlie Carlson will be our guest speaker. He is a folk historian, Swedish descendent, author.
