The NASCAR Sprint Cup season begins each season with the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway.
This 75-lap shootout fields the top NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars in a no-holds barred non-points race on a 2.5 mile tri-oval.
Budweiser Shootout is a two part race.
After a 25 lap segment there is a 10 minute break to allow race teams time to do what would normally be done in a pit stop before the final 50 lap dash to the checkered flag.
The track's 31 degrees of banking in the turns and 18 degrees of banking in the front tri-oval make this race a real thriller.
Also included is entrance to the Sprint fanzone where you can walk the track surface over the grassy tri-oval and onto pit road for pre-race through driver's introductions.
